Chisimdi was dedicated on May 1, 2022. This is her first major event, and the event deserves a blog post about it. Chisimdi has brought so much joy and happiness to our home. Watching her grow these past few months into a strong, happy child is nothing short of a miracle. Chisimdi is a courageous girl who always wants to learn things by herself. I have zero doubt that she is a gifted child and we, as parents, will do our best to unlock these gifts. Dedicating her is a way to express our desire to commit her to the Lord and his service. And to also promise to do everything in our power to help her grow to understand Christ’s love and experience a life-giving relationship with Him.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. ” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
“When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.” (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5) Below are some of the amazing moments captured on camera
